Sony mdrzx110nc review | BUY FROM AMAZON

I was looking for low-budget noise-cancelling headphones. Do you know what I found the Sony mdrzx110nc noise-cancelling headphones?

After using it for a few days, I came to know all about these Sony mdrzx110nc headphones.

Before I start my Sony mdrzx110nc review, I should like to clear one thing, when you look for a good noise-cancelling headphone, you must have a good budget of at least 100 dollars, then only you can compare them with the other good headphones.

Here I intend to say that when you search for noise-cancelling headphones, you will get very few options which might come under 40 dollars or less.

So you can’t expect much from Sony mdrzx110nc.

Sony mdrzx110nc noise-cancelling headphones review

  • Product Dimensions- 7.4 x 5.8 x 2 inches.
  • Product Weight- 5.3 ounces.
  • Foam factor- Over-ear.
  • Connectivity- Wired.

Sony mdrzx110nc noise-cancelling headphones are 7.4 inches in length, 5.8 inches in width, 2 inches in height, and weigh up to 5.3 ounces.

These Sony MDR-zx110nc operate over 12-22,000 Hz, which provides pristine bass, mids, and treble.

Sound Quality.

Sony mdrzx110nc headphones provide good sound quality, which is the primary need for headphones. If you ask me about the base quality, then I say that they provide the heavy base.

Design and Controls.

If you ask me about the design of the Sony MDR-ZX110NC, then I say they look good, at least for me. They come with an in black headband along with black earcups.

They look fine to me, and especially their folding design makes them easy to store.

On the other hand, the build quality is not as I expected. The Sony mdrzx110nc are made of plastic, and the headband is not as durable as expected. If you apply moderate stress to it, it might get a break.

Do you know what the plus point of Sony mdrzx110nc is? Its ear cups are dense and look durable enough for me.

If you asked me about the controls, I didn’t find any music or call control settings or any other Volume control or microphone control features that I found disappointing.

Are they comfortable?

They are just 5.3 ounces which shows how comfortable they are. After the usage of a few hours, I can conclude that the Sony MDR-ZX110NC does not exert much pressure on the ears, which I felt.

But if I tell you about the padding of the ear cups, they are slightly stiff, which caused me a little discomfort while using them.

What about its Noise cancellation?

Honestly, the Sony MDR-zx110nc headphones do not cancel 95% of the ambient noise, as the company says. I say that it provides average noise cancellation from the surrounding noise.

Aside from which you only get a single noise-cancelling switch, which means you do not get any more options for noise cancellation features like the Bose 700 noise-cancelling headphones with the eleven levels for the noise cancelling.

Does the battery last for 80 hours in real?

The Sony noise-cancelling wired headphones come with AAA batteries, which provide a large battery backup of even more than 80-hours which is quite impressive.

It does not come with any charging port, which is obvious with the AAA batteries. But even with the large battery life, the Sony noise-cancelling headphones do not have any power-saving mode. If it had, then it would be like butter on cheese.

But at last, I don’t have any issues regarding the Sony MDR-zx110nc battery.

Issues I faced with the Sony mdrzx110nc headphones?

Let me start with its ear cup pad. They are quite stiff, which makes them as not uncomfortable as I need them to be. If you ask me about the build quality, it is made up of total plastic, which does not look very durable.

In short, they provide average durability. Next thing I faced the issue, which is the control settings of the Sony mdrzx110nc headphones.

They do not contain any switches for volume control or the music/call control.

Verdict- [Sony mdrzx110nc review]

After the in-depth Sony mdrzx110nc review, I can say that the feature which I liked most is its battery backup. The 80-hours battery is not a joke after all.

I know it does not offer any recharging feature, but it is fine for me after having this huge battery life from the Sony mdrzx110nc headphones.

The next thing which I liked was its sound quality. It provides impressive sound quality, which is expected from Sony’s headphones.

After all, no product in the market has any issues. The same is with the Sony mdrzx110nc headphones—starting from the noise cancellation to the no volume/ music control feature (discussed above in detail).

But at last, I say budget matters a lot. If you are getting all these features in just under 40 dollars from a brand such as Sony, then I think it might be a great deal.

If you can increase your budget a little bit, then I recommend you Anker Soundcore Life Q20 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones over the Sony mdrzx110nc.
